The client’s challenge was differentiation: their product wasn’t radically disruptive and couldn’t compete on price, making it difficult to stand out in a crowded market. This opened an opportunity to rebrand and build a website that could educate, engage, and entertain—ultimately establishing trust, improving usability, and creating a stronger digital presence. At Rivyl, I collaborated with the branding team, copywriters, and developers to bring the refreshed identity into the digital space. My role focused on applying the new visual language across the site, shaping user flows, supporting wireframes, and refining the overall experience to feel both intuitive and distinctly on-brand.

My process began with research into luxury brands such as Chanel, drawing inspiration from their clean, aspirational navigation patterns to shape a refined header experience. With the goal of sparking curiosity and building brand awareness, we focused on leveraging the full suite of brand assets—typography, imagery, and tone of voice—to create a site that felt immersive, distinctive, and memorable.

The visual direction leaned into bold, immersive aesthetics- dark backgrounds with shifting gradients paired with 3D foil balloon shapes and oversized lettering created an electrifying, distinctive look that set the brand apart. This design language was crafted to captivate users and convey energy, playfulness, and confidence at every touchpoint. To ensure the experience remained accessible and user-friendly, we introduced plain white backgrounds in key moments to support readability and contrast. This balance allowed the outrageous, personality-filled photography to take center stage without compromising clarity. By grounding the bold visuals in consistent patterns and accessible design decisions, the site delivered a seamless experience that felt both visually outrageous and intuitively navigable.
